The Power of Prayer

I really believe that if enough people pray or send out positive vibes in regards to a certain person or situation that mountains can be moved. Whether you believe in God, Buddah, or a greater Source I want to thank you all for your support, prayers, and well wishes. My mom had surgery today and it went very well. They were able to remove the mass in its entirety and it doesn't look like it spread but we'll have the biopsy results at the beginning of next week and that will let us know if she needs chemo or not. I cannot thank you enough for your outpouring of love for me and my family.

So thankful to hear this. We just went through prostate cancer with my dad and I know how debilitating that world is. Praying your mom continues on the path to recovery.

That is great news. My mom had a cancer scare a few months ago and it was very scary. Praying for your mom in her recovery from surgery.

I am hoping you get good news this week from the biopsy.

Yes, prayer is powerful... as is positive thought. I will send both out to your family.

I have a friend who had Leukemia as toddler. She survived to develop a brain tumor- non-cancerous- at the age of 30. 2 years later is was back bigger and more intwined in her brain than before- but still benign. It was removed - again- in November. January's PET scan came back with aggressive regrowth- no longer benign- that had to be removed immediately. They got as much as they could without taking brain or destroying blood vessels... she had a stroke 3 days later. She is alive and although the docs said she would never walk- she is using a walker and getting stronger on her affected side every day. She is able to talk now and her memory is getting better everyday.
The power of prayer and positive thought have done miracles for her-
she believes in that power and used it to keep going thru her chemo and rehab and proving the docs wrong. Her prognosis is 2-5 years if it does not grow back right away. She says she plans to be around longer than that... they said she would never walk and 3 months later she is, so... prayer and positive thought- powerful tools for powerful results!
