Daddy's Girl

Isabella loves her Daddy. So much so that she's become a hemroid on his ass. When my mom got sick I had about 2 weeks left in the school year and I was buried with end-of-the-year paperwork, so in an effort to keep me in work and off my boss's shit list, Andy was able to rearrange his schedule so that he could watch her on the days my sister couldn't. Great! In those 2 weeks she grew so attached to him it's crazy.

She'd cry when he left the room, want him to hold her all the time, and would only want him to feed her. At first I thought it was cute, but then my feelings started to get hurt because, hey I carried and birthed her.

Now that she spends the majority of her time with me it's not nearly as bad, I'd even go as far to say that she's becoming something of a mama's girl. But she'll still go to her Daddy before anyone else besides me. But if I really think about it, it makes sense. I'm the one who makes her nap. I'm the one who makes her eat her veggies. And I certainly can't toss her as high in the air as Andy, so it's no wonder she's a daddy's girl!

My daughter is the same way, a serious hemmroid in my husbands ass when he's home from work. A total daddy's girl! I used to get a littl jealous, but now I welcome it. It gets her off my ass every now and then! Love the pic! too cute!

Don't you just hate that he gets to be the good guy while you have to be the hard-nose?

The role of mother. Sometimes it sucks.

Gianna went through a stage where she would throw little tantrums ONLY with me & then be all happy & smily with Daddy & Grandma. It pissed me off quite honestly LOL! But now she is back to loving her mama & that's the way it should be :)

Just enjoy it! When she gets older, she'll want to sit on your lap while your peeing...my girl is 10 and still hangs around the bathroom! Seriously!

My kids both went through phases were they were all about Daddy, but at the end of the day, or when they were hurt, they always ended up wanting Mamma!

Thanks for stopping by Single Mom in the South!

That's sweet! My Lilah is a momma's girl all the way...but her daddy & her paps hold a very special place in her heart for sure. It will be fun for you to watch their relationship grow as she does. But I hear ya on the hurt feelings...last night my son didn't want me to tuck him into bed, when usually it's always me & never daddy...I was heartbroken!
