That's Just Me

I put myself on blast on the interwebz.  I divulge highly personal information where any one can find it.  I embarrass myself on a regular basis.  Sometimes I'll write a really personal post or I'll write from a frame of mind that is really down in the dumps or I'll wonder about what so-and-so from real life will think when she reads it, and I'll hesitate to hit publish but I always do.  I don't really care any more who reads this blog and what they think.  This is my place to be exactly who I am and if that makes you feel like you're not alone or if it makes you want to make fun of me or if it makes you think or if it makes you hate me, that's just how it has to be.

I will talk about how I hate my fat ass.  I'll talk about how I sometimes want to pull my hair out while dealing with Isabella's antics.  I'll talk about how awesome my friends are and in the same breath talk about how alienated I feel from some of them.  I'll talk about my snoring husband.  I'll talk about my inadequacies, my insecurities, my triumphs, and the times I've owned it.  I'll review shit and give it away.  Some of my posts are highly personal and some are really embarrassing and sometimes I even put a link on facebook (albeit rarely).  But this is me and I own who I am.  No being fake, phony, or hiding.  This is me.

I'm impressed that you can do this. I still have that hesitation about several topics since I don't know what my friends and family might think if I write about them! Guess I should've gone with an incognito blog so they wouldn't know about it. : )

I mainly subscribe through bloglovin to craft blogs, but when the women writing these blogs write about real things happening in their lives that aren't always perfect and pretty, I always read their blogs more carefully. It takes courage to put yourself out there and I admire this. I don't judge, but rather can relate to these women. Everyone knows the blogs that are keeping it real and those are the ones I read :)
