I've gotten a lot of great advice over the years and I will now share it with all of you:
1. Lean forward when you pee. This will make sure that your bladder is squeezed empty so you don't have to go again in five minutes. Genius.
2. Updating a facebook status past 11pm says only one thing: you're drunk. Put your phone down.
3. A glass of pineapple juice will help with heartburn. It sounds counter intuitive to drink something that acidic, but I swear it works.
4. Spend within your means. If it means that you have to go without the latest trend or you have to say no to that fancy dinner out, then do it.
5. Will Ferrel is the funniest fuck you will ever see.
6. When cleaning windows clean the inside from top to bottom and the outside from side to side, this way if there are streaks you'll know where to touch up.
7. Buy the smallest house in the best neighborhood.
8. Wash your face every night. I don't care how tired you are. Not washing your face one night can age your skin 3 days. Scrub-a-dub-dub filth bag.
9. If you watch TV you can't go wrong with Homeland, The Walking Dead, and Game of Thrones.
10. Take care of your body if you expect it to take care of you.
What is some of your best advice?

Great advice! I totally agree with #1, you gotta lean forward. And #5, Will Ferrel is the best.
That is some good advice. I never knew about the window cleaning one - great tip!
The forward peeing thing is pretty genius :) The best advice I ever got was from a friend right after my son was born. That is the time when it seems like everyone around you has a million conflicting nuggets of wisdom to throw at you and she just said "Yeah. Just don't listen to anyone. Do your own thing." I had to remind myself of her words over and over again when someone would tell me parent this way or that way.
Great tips! Love them! I remember when I was pregnant with our first baby, a good friend told us to see as many movies as possible...and she was right...it was pretty much our last chance! ;)
These are good, and some I haven't heard of yet. So glad I found you from SITS!
Some good advise my mom gave me growing up is "life isn't fair". It helps put things in perspective even now.
Good lessons indeed. I'm going to have to give lesson #1 a try...and a BIG concur to lessons 4,5,7,8, and 10! Visiting from SITS. Andrea @ www.be-quoted.com
I heart you! Great advice. :-)
Popped in from SITS! Mine was to wear sunscreen and don't sweat the extra five pounds-- the skinnier you are when you're old the older you look!
